Juries Victoria obtains, collects and uses your personal information for the sole purpose of fulfilling its jury management obligations under the Juries Act 2000.

Personal details are randomly retrieved from the Victorian Electoral Commission. This information is kept strictly confidential according to the principles established by the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014.

When using this web service, your juror number and date of birth are used to confirm your identity. You should keep your juror number private to prevent unauthorised access to your details.

Health Information

Your COVID-19 vaccination status is health information within the meaning of the Health Records Act 2001. Juries Victoria, as part of Court Services Victoria, is collecting this health information from you pursuant to section 68 of the Juries Act 2000 to determine whether you may be exempted from being summoned for jury service.

In the event of potential exposure to a person with COVID-19 in the course of jury service, the health information collected will also be used to complete a risk assessment required by Directions under the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 and disclosed to the Department of Health. The health information may be disclosed to staff of Juries Victoria, Court Services Victoria and the Department of Health for these purposes. Health information collected will be held securely.
